Paul Richardson your event performer

A life long resident of the Pacific Northwest, Paul Richardson is best known for his skills as a great keyboardist with a left hand that has the envy of many bass players. This is just the icing on a career whose associations (either live or in the studio) reads like a diverse pop and jazz trivia encyclopedia: Herbie Hancock, The Headhunters, Ernestine Andersen, Charles Lloyd, Maya Angelou, Blood, Sweat and Tears, Stephanie Mills, Najee, Chuck Mangioni, Kal David, Big Jay McNeely, The SOS Band and Little Milton to name a few. He's performed in the Paul Robeson Theaters production of “Gods Trombones”, The Intiman Theaters production of the “Black Nativity” and the Seattle Group Theaters production of “Lady Day at Emersons Bar And Grill”.  He has, and continues to record and perform with many of the great artist in the Pacific Northwest, Michael Powers, Deems Tsutakawa, Korla Wygal, Jim Freeman, Josephine Howell and Darren Motamedy to name a few. Paul’s solo work and ensembles continue to be a benchmark for local groups in the area. No matter whom he plays with, Paul Richardson brings elements of his trademark sensibilities to each and every project he contributes to.

“I try to approach everything in a unique way-- from compositions to arrangements. Just as in my own music, I try to bring a lot of diverse elements to the party, and give 110%"
